Recently, with the development of horizontal directional drilling rig construction technology,
many methods that are different from traditional construction have emerged. This
construction case in Romania involves pulling back two large and small steel pipes at the
same time. The construction length is 300m, and the sand geology has brought great
difficulties to this construction.
Romanian construction siteThe main problems faced when enlarging the sand layer address are failure to form holes,
collapse holes, shrinkage holes, and drill pipe clamping during guidance. This requires
rational use of mud and scientific mud proportioning and use according to on-site
conditions to avoid the above-mentioned problems.
This crossing project,It took a total of 6 days, and the guiding, reaming, and pulling back of the steel pipe were carried out smoothly. This not only brings a test to the machine, but also a test to the construction technology.
