- The power head rotation is driven by the American high-torque Eaton motor, which is stable in performance and achieves stepless variable speed. The thrust&pullback motor also adopts the American Eaton motor to achieve stepless variable speed, and the machine’s work speed is far ahead in trenchless industry.
- The Ф42×1800mm drill rod allows the machine to be adapted to smaller construction space. The drill rod box capacity is 44pcs.
- The machine structure is simple in design, with low failure rate and easy maintenance.

LS represents the long-stroke reinforced version with an extended push-pull cylinder stroke, larger single feed rate and 18% higher continuous drilling efficiency. Its hydraulic system is reinforced for non-stop continuous field operation for multiple days.

It is used for municipal communication optical cables, medium and small-diameter water supply & drainage PE pipes and low-pressure gas pipelines, as well as small crossing projects across township highways and rural rivers.

What are the rated maximum pullback force and torque parameters?
It features a rated pullback force of 5 tons and matched rotary torque for medium and small-diameter reaming operations, enabling one-time pullback and forming of shallow buried pipelines without secondary reaming.

Can the machine be positioned and constructed in narrow urban alleys and urban villages?
The complete machine adopts a compact layout with small floor space, and can be positioned for construction in alleyways only 3 m wide, showing obvious advantages in old urban pipe network reconstruction.

Does the hydraulic system have a high failure rate? Is cold start stable in frigid regions?
A low-temperature anti-freeze hydraulic oil kit is available as an option for normal startup at -15°C. The integrated hydraulic valve block and optimized pipeline connections greatly reduce liquid leakage failures.
