What construction scenarios is the G40 HDD suitable for?
It is specially designed for small-scale trenchless construction, applicable to optical fiber cables, small-diameter PE gas pipelines, pipeline entry crossing in residential quarters, and short-distance road crossing pipe jacking. It is the preferred equipment for sporadic small urban projects and pipe network emergency repairs.

What is the maximum pipe laying diameter and single crossing length supported by the G40?
It is matched with small-diameter PE pipes by standard configuration, with a conventional single crossing distance within 100 m and a maximum reaming diameter ≤150 mm. It fits shallow buried homogeneous soft formations such as clay and silty sand.

Is the G40 diesel-powered or electric-driven? What is its approximate fuel consumption?
It is a conventional diesel-powered horizontal directional drilling machine that can operate independently in the wild without external power supply. The full-load fuel consumption is 4–6 L per hour, delivering low operating costs for short-distance sporadic construction.

Can the G40 work in hard soil and gravel layers?
It is only applicable to homogeneous soft formations including soft clay and silty sand. It is not recommended for pebble layers, weathered rock and dense hard soil, which will cause drill jamming and drastically reduce drilling efficiency.

What standard accessories are included with the machine? Can a locating system be added as an option?
Standard accessories include drill pipes, drill bits, reamers and hydraulic tubing assemblies. The locating system and mud mixing system are optional upgrades, which can be packaged as a complete set according to the requirements of overseas construction sites.

How long is the warranty for the exported complete machine? What is the delivery cycle of wearing parts?
The complete main machine enjoys a 12-month warranty. Consumables such as drill pipes and drill bits are excluded from the warranty. Regular wearing parts are stocked in overseas warehouses and can be re-delivered within 7 working days.
