To get the best range and battery life, the slots on the drill must be the right size and position. Goodeng's transmitters need at least three equally spaced slots around the bit for the best signal and battery life.

Measure the length of the slots on the inside of the bit. They must be at least 1.6 mm (1/6 in.) wide. Goodeng transmitters fit in standard housings, but may require a battery cover adapter
